Seville oranges (21g fruit in 100g) sugar, water, Penderyn Welsh Whisky (2% in 100g), lemon juice.

The start of the year for any artisan preserve maker is never dull and is full of citrus sunshine as we make the most of the Seville orange season. Organic Seville oranges come from Ave Maria Farm, a passionate and family run business producing amazing quality citrus fruits. If we’re lucky, we get an early start with a late December crop coming through early from Spain and start our artisan marmalade making process. Whole fruit with a delicate balance of freshly squeezed lemons and made with a small batch open pan cooking method. We get a light, natural set marmalade with a really fresh Seville orange flavour with good rind and bite. The whisky is a multi award winning single malt whisky that’s finished in Madeira barrels giving it a characterful smooth light whisky with a soft, subtle complexity.
